Information CalDrop Uses

• Account details such as name, email address, role, and authentication state.
• Customer follow choices, selected event groups, calendar visibility settings, and sync preferences.
• Business profile details, event details, QR tokens, billing status, and publication status for business users.
• Support messages or operational details that users choose to send to CalDrop.

How CalDrop Uses Information

• To sign users in and show the correct customer, business, or admin workspace.
• To show followed places, selected event groups, upcoming event occurrences, and sync status.
• To publish business event listings and keep public follow links working.
• To provide support, protect accounts, and maintain the CalDrop service.

Calendar Access

Native CalDrop apps use calendar permission only for the events the user chooses to follow. The iPhone app creates, updates, verifies, and removes events in a dedicated CalDrop calendar after the user grants Apple Calendar permission. Android releases can connect Google Calendar so CalDrop can create, update, verify, and remove selected CalDrop events in the user's chosen Google Calendar. Calendar permission can be changed in device settings or disconnected from the app.

Google Calendar Data

When a user connects Google Calendar, CalDrop requests permission to view the user's writable calendar list and to create, update, and delete calendar events. CalDrop uses this access only to let the user choose a destination calendar, sync selected CalDrop events, clean up stale or duplicate CalDrop-created events, and disconnect Google Calendar on request.

CalDrop stores an encrypted Google refresh token, the selected Google Calendar identifier and name, event mapping identifiers, sync status, and sync error details needed to operate the calendar connection. CalDrop does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it except as needed to provide and secure the CalDrop calendar sync feature.

Payments

Business billing is handled on the web dashboard through Stripe. CalDrop stores Stripe identifiers and billing status returned by Stripe so the app can unlock or gate business tools.

Service Providers

CalDrop uses service providers for hosting, database storage, email delivery, payments, and calendar integration. These providers process data only as needed to operate CalDrop.

Data Choices

Users can sign out, change followed places and event choices, disconnect calendar access, delete a customer account in the app, or review the account deletion path at CalDrop Account Deletion.

Children

CalDrop is not directed to children under 13.
